IBOPE Inteligência Poll: Obama Approval (41%) and Re-Elect (37%) Drop Slightly
Still Better Than That of Congress
UTICA, NY--President Barack Obama's standing with likely voters remains stagnant, as both his job approval (41%) and the percentage saying he deserves re-election (37%) fell two percentage points from a week ago.
These results are from an IBOPE Inteligência interactive poll conducted from Oct. 18-21.

Other results show little change from Oct. 14 on opinion toward the nation's direction and approval of Congress.
- 72% say the nation is on the wrong track and 17% say the U.S. is headed in the right direction.
- Overall approval of Congress is 13%, while approval for Congressional Republicans is 30% and for Congressional Democrats 28%.
IBOPE Inteligência conducted an online survey of 2,067 voters. A sampling of IBOPE Inteligência's online panel, which is representative of the adult population of the U.S., was invited to participate. Slight weights were added to region, party, age, race, religion, gender and education to more accurately reflect the population. The margin of error is +/- 2.2 percentage points. Margins of error are higher in sub-groups. The MOE calculation is for sampling error only
